The Redwood Unified Media Team (RUMT) is a student-powered storytelling group committed to amplifying the voices, events, and culture of Redwood High School. Through photography, video, writing, and design, we create content that informs, inspires, and celebrates our school community.

🙋‍♀️ What We Do
Our team covers everything from campus rallies and club events to sports, performances, and student profiles. We work across platforms to provide:

• 📸 Photography — Live event coverage, portraits, and editorial photo essays
• 🎥 Video — Recaps, features, interviews, and hype reels
• 📰 Writing — Feature stories, interviews, recaps, and explanatory pieces
• 🎨 Design — Social media graphics, promotional materials, and digital storytelling layouts

Whether we’re behind the camera, in the editing suite, or interviewing students, we believe every part of campus life deserves to be seen and shared.

We’re a collaborative team made up of:

• Students from Photography, Newspaper, Yearbook, and Video classes
• Section editors and team leads who manage project flow and quality
• Dedicated creators who care about school culture and student voice

Together, we’re not just documenting the year—we’re building Redwood’s digital memory.
